Women in Philanthropy collectively empowers you and your fellow changemakers to make meaningful impact at NYGH. You will start with a membership donation that is pooled together to support a single funding priority within the hospital.
For the next two years, Women in Philanthropy will be supporting the new Birthing Centre coming soon to NYGH. Looking further ahead, the members will focus on a new priority at NYGH every two years. Members are encouraged to work together to raise additional funds to boost fundraising targets – the more we raise, the more we can improve health care for our communities.
Along the way, you’ll have fun with us while networking with fellow members and leaders across the foundation and hospital. Women in Philanthropy is the perfect program for new and seasoned philanthropists alike, and allows you to engage and fundraise at your own pace while making an impact that will be felt for generations.

How it Works
Sign up for a two-year-term with a membership donation of $5,000 each year.
Activate your network. Some examples include inviting others to join, planning fundraisers or spreading the word. Our foundation team will be there to support you every step of the way.
Engage with us – attend events, meet our leaders, and learn more about your impact.
After two years, renew your membership and help us decide on the next area of funding for the group that speaks to your personal experience, the inherent needs of the community, or advocacy for women’s health.
