Thank you very much to the staff at the ER unit, especially to Dr. Vaughan and Marlon. My 4 year old daughter split her chin open in the middle of the night and we went to ER for stitches. This was her first visit to hospital; Marlon and Dr. Vaughan made her as comfortable as possible and not feel as terrified. She really loved the popsicle Marlon gave her afterwards. Thank you!

My 3 year old son had an asthma attack this past weekend (we were unaware that he had asthma so it was a very scary experience for us both). From the moment we entered the ER to the moment we were released a couple days later – I was incredibly impressed by the NYGH staff.
