Arjay Ordona, one of North York General Hospital’s geriatric emergency management nurses, has been calling geriatric patients aged 65 and older to see how they’re doing and provide them with advice during the COVID crisis.
Dear Friends, I am still working from my kitchen table although I confess to have occasionally moved to the couch, with my laptop precariously perched on a pillow.
First responders run towards the problem and help others. With an infection, it is the collaborative response of us all that makes the difference. Our government will provide the necessary institutional responses, but that pales compared to the response we collectively can supply.
