One has to admit, waking up to freshly fallen snow is magical. And perhaps even more so if you don’t have to contend with a commute, which is the reality for many of us. I am grateful that I have something different to look at in my garden (below) from my kitchen “desk”, as the Foundation staff have returned to remote working to reduce the community footprint in the Hospital.
Winter has come early with several snowfalls in the city these last few weeks. I am also just getting use to the shorter amount of daylight, which is a sign that the holiday season will soon be here, albeit a different sort of holiday for all of us.
