Celebrating your support on National Philanthropy Day

Today is National Philanthropy Day – a time to celebrate our donors, supporters and volunteers, and recognize the profound impact they have on the health of our shared community.

Philanthropic giving has shaped NYGH for close to 50 years. Overwhelming generosity lives within our hospital; it’s in our equipment and programs that save lives every hour of the day; and it’s reflected in our shared belief that we each have a responsibility to help NYGH go beyond care from birth, to end-of-life, and everything in between.

While some donors have been a part of our hospital’s history for decades, others are just beginning to establish their own legacies. One common thread weaves our supporters together is that each has a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of the hundreds of thousands of people that call NYGH their hospital.

In honour of National Philanthropy Day, North York General Foundation would like to thank our loyal donors, supporters and volunteers for their generosity – not just today, but every day of the year!
