Rally for Rewards: Fundraising Incentive Draw Rules
The Rally in the Ravine Rally for Rewards Fundraising Draw (the “Draw”) is sponsored by the Rally in the Ravine event and North York General Foundation (“NYGF”). To qualify, participants must fundraise a minimum of $250 by Monday October 28, 2024.
The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
1. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest period for the Rally for Rewards Fundraising Draw ends on Monday October 28, 2024, at 8:00AM (the “Contest Period”).
2. ELIGIBILITY
A. Participants must be legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec). The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Contest: NYGF staff members, NYGH Board Members, and individuals directly involved with the planning and executing of the event.
B. Participants who are under the age of majority in their province or territory, as applicable, of residence at the date of entry are eligible to enter the Contest and win a prize provided that the parent or legal guardian of the entrant accepts any such prize and the terms and conditions hereof for and on behalf of such participant.
3. HOW TO ENTER
Register as a participant in the Rally in the Ravine event (the “the event”) and fundraise. Participants will receive one (1) entry into the Rally for Rewards Draw for every $250, $500, and $1,000 raised. See section 4 “The Prizes” for details of the prizes.
4. THE PRIZES
Rally for Rewards Fundraising Draw Prizes (the Prizes):
A. For every $250 raised, receive one entry to win:
a. A gift card
b. A Stanley Water Bottle
B. For every $500 raised, receive one entry to win:
a. Sonos Speaker
b. Apple Airpods
c. Yeti Cooler
C. For every $1,000 raised, receive one entry to win:
a. One-year gym membership to F45 Bayview
b. One weekend away at Deerhurst Resort
c. Tickets to a Toronto sports team game
5. ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
6. DATES
The Draw will take place on Monday October 28, 2024. Winners will be notified by email and phone within seven days of the draw.
7. GENERAL PROVISIONS
A. By entering the Contest, any subsequent Rally for Rewards Fundraising Draw Winner agrees to allow the free use of their name and image for publicity and news purposes during this and future contests by the Rally in the Ravine Event and its sponsors.
B. Rally in the Ravine and NYGF accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Contest or accepting the Rally for Rewards Fundraising Draw prize.
C. Rally in the Ravine and NYGF reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Contest with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud).
D. The decision of Rally in the Ravine and NYGF in all matters relating to the Contest is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into the decision.
E. Rally in the Ravine and NYGF assume no responsibility or liability for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, for any error, omission, interruption, defect, or delay in computer systems used to enter the Contest, for any other communications with Contest entrants. Rally in the Ravine and NYGF assume no liability for any loss or damage, if the Contest is modified or terminated for any reason.
8. PRIVACY
By entering the Contest, entrants’ consent to NYGF’s collection, use and disclosure of their personal information, as NYGF deems necessary, to facilitate the administration of the Contest, contacting selected entrants, awarding, and delivering the prizes to the Winners and promoting the Contest and NYGF’s related registration activities. By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Promotion Rules. Each participant also agrees that, if they are declared a Winner, the Sponsor may use their name, city of residence and/or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity in connection with the Contest and NYGF’s related registration activities.
