Rally in the Ravine Contest Rules

The Rally in the Ravine Early Bird Registration Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by the Rally in the Ravine event and North York General Foundation (“NYGF”). To qualify, participants (defined as: General Public registrants and North York General Hospital (“NYGH”) employees) must register for Rally in the Ravine between April 2nd, 2024, and June 30th, 2024. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. 

CONTEST PERIOD 

The Contest period for the Early Bird Registration Contest Prize Draw starts at 12:00AM EST on April 2nd, 2024, and ends on June 30th, 2024, at 11:59PM (the “Contest Period”). 

ELIGIBILITY 

Participants must be legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec). The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Contest: NYGF staff members, NYGH Board Members, and individuals directly involved with the planning and executing of the event. 

Participants who are under the age of majority in their province or territory, as applicable, of residence at the date of entry are eligible to enter the Contest and win a prize provided that the parent or legal guardian of the entrant accepts any such prize and the terms and conditions hereof for and on behalf of such participant. 

HOW TO ENTER 

Register as a participant in the Rally in the Ravine event (the “the event”) by going to the event website at www.RallyInTheRavine.ca during the contest period. There is no purchase necessary to register and enter the Contest. See section 4 for details of the Prizes.  

THE PRIZES 

Early Bird Registration Contest Prizes (the Prizes): 

Free parking, available at all North York General Hospital sites for a 6-month duration, starting July 7th, 2024, and ending December 7th, 2024, for two (2) NYGH staff members. 

Three (3) Presto Cards valued at $250 each. 

Any individual that registers during the Contest Period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Early Bird Registration Contest Prize Draw. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Winner is required to answer a mathematical skill testing question before being awarded the Prize. 

ODDS OF WINNING 

The odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 

DATES 

The Early Bird Registration Contest Prize Draw will take place on July 2nd, 2024, at 4001 Leslie St., Toronto, Ontario M2K 1E1. The Winners will be notified by email and phone within seven days.   

General Provisions 

By entering the Contest, any subsequent Early Bird Registration Contest Winner agrees to allow the free use of their name and image for publicity and news purposes during this and future contests by the Rally in the Ravine Event and its sponsors. 

Rally in the Ravine and NYGF accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Contest or accepting the Early Bird Registration Contest. 

Rally in the Ravine and NYGF reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Contest with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud). 

The decision of Rally in the Ravine and NYGF in all matters relating to the Contest is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Rally in the Ravine and NYGF assume no responsibility or liability for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, for any error, omission, interruption, defect, or delay in computer systems used to enter the Contest, for any other communications with Contest entrants, and are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information submitted to the Rally in the Ravine website. Rally in the Ravine and NYGF assume no liability for any loss or damage, if the Contest is modified or terminated for any reason. 

The Winner must answer a skill testing question to qualify to redeem the Early Bird Registration Contest Prize.  

PRIVACY 

By entering the Contest, entrants’ consent to NYGF’s collection, use and disclosure of their personal information, as NYGF deems necessary, to facilitate the administration of the Contest, contacting selected entrants, awarding, and delivering the prizes to the Winners and promoting the Contest and NYGF’s related registration activities. 

By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Promotion Rules. Each participant also agrees that, if they are declared a Winner, the Sponsor may use their name, city of residence and/or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity in connection with the Contest and NYGF’s related registration activities. 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, tradenames, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and representations are owned by NYGF, and their respective affiliates, as applicable. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is prohibited.
