Your Impact on Cancer Care

This year, thanks to our donors, North York General became the first hospital in Canada to screen for breast cancer using both AI and Contrast-Enhanced Mammography, detecting cancers more accurately than ever before. With donor support, we are also adding a fourth mammography machine, allowing 11,000 more exams each year. This increased capacity is especially critical as new government screening guidelines now include patients as young as 40.
